With the help of Governor James Douglas, the Northfield Emergency Services honored Firefighters Matt Cetin and Russell Ashe for there outstanding efforts to improve safety throughout our region.  Matt and Russell from Barre City Fire have led the way through education and legislative changes requiring the use of Photo Electric smoke detectors.
